WaveLine Plug & Play Ethernet Switches

Switches operate as central network components. They prevent data collisions, facilitate fast switching of data packets and in doing so increase the throughput rate. 

The WaveLine Plug & Play switches do not require any configuration and can be simply installed into your industrial network without the need to set any parameters. WaveLine switches come with either 3 to 5 (22.5mm wide) or 6 to 8 (45mm wide) ports in various versions: 10/100Base-T via RJ45 as well as multimode port with SC or ST connectors and singlemode ports with SC connectors.

Designed as compact Plug & Play modules, they make it easy to quickly and simply create IE networks. Therefore neither configuration nor parameterisation is necessary. All WaveLine switches feature an extremely slim design and can be utilised with fibre-optic connections. With transmission rates of up to 100 Mbit/s, Weidmuller’s switches fulfil the requirements for Fast Ethernet.
