These are the ambitious targets which Weidmüller has defined for its role as leading provider of solutions for electrical connectivity, transmission, conditioning and processing of power, signals and data in industrial environments.

We have therefore implemented a business unit structure which is based on customerproximity, which derives its innovations from the market and which reflects the interaction between power, signals and data in industrial environments.

The Electrical Connectivity business unit focuses on switching cabinets and field wiring, in other words the passive network infrastructure for power, signals and data.

The Device Connectivity Business Unit provides components for the connection of power and signal to devices in the industrial environment as well as matching enclosure systems as packaging for electronics.

The Electronics business unit realises the intelligent conditioning or processing of signals and data within the network nfrastructure and provides the active components for data networks.

The Application Specific Solutions Business Unit develops innovative and market-driven application solutions, precisely tailored to the customers’ requirements. On the basis of Weidmüller components the goods and services offered range from customised assemblies via market-oriented products and solutions to the new development of complex product solutions in co-operation with the customer.

In total, our business units represent all levels of the industrial network infrastructure – for power, signal and data.
