The new Panasonic MINAS A6 Multi 400V servo drive system was specially developed for the European market. With a slim, 50mm wide book size format, each drive controller can control two axes, which reduces the space requirement in the control cabinet by up to 64 % compared to standard drives.
In addition to the compact dimensions, the Minas A6 multi-drive comes with additional advantages for installation in the control cabinet. The front-mounted DC bus connection system, developed by Weidmüller, enables uncomplicated and time-saving installation. This means that the drive can be installed and set up completely without tools.

The innovative latch-in bus system consists of two different busbar connectors with spring contacts. They enable a fast, tool-free connection of individual modules in addition to the connection of the entire module network to the power supply. A significant advantage of the modular system is the possibility of connecting intermediate circuits to the front or top of the device. Thus, the system is ideally adaptable to any particular installation conditions.

The OMNIMATE® Power Hybrid connector the perfect three-in-one solution for motor connection
This hybrid motor connector simultaneously unites power, signals and pluggable EMC shield support. You save space on the PCB, on the outer side of the housing, and in the electrical cabinet. The self-snapping one-handed interlock mechanism requires only one plugging step and thus speeds up installation and maintenance procedures. It is easy to handle and interlocks automatically – even in difficult installation positions.
The pluggable shield support with special EMC spring contact strip. This enables the large-area, permanent and vibration-proof shield connection to the device housing. Thanks to finger safety on both sides of the male and female connectors, this solution is also suitable for applications with reverse voltage.
